My third order for the week came from our pre-school teacher. She's asked me to make some calico finger puppets for the kids to decorate in a future activity. Nothing too complicated. I used a bottle cap to get the curve and traced a whole heap onto doubled over calico.
I then sewed directly on to this line then used my pinking shears to cut around them. I decided to use the pinking shears instead of turning them all inside right which was going to be fiddly.
Voila! finger puppets complete with spiky hair.
A hit with the consumer. I can't wait to see what the kids do with them.
