New Years baby.

We arrived home today after ten days in Melbourne which has been lovely. The kids were particularly excited to be home when they found out what just hatched......

Its been christened "Cheepy" by Miss Muff.
We aren't sure how its going to turn out as its biological Mum is a lovely big fluffy brown chook, Dad is a rather scruffy undersized bantom with issues, and the adoptive mother (who hatched the egg) is a very cranky white chook.

When I get unpacked and a little more organised I'll sit down and do a catch up post on what we have been up to. I'm in quite the holiday mode.

I know nothing about chickens but this one sounds like one that would probably need a shrink!!!
The best for you and your family in this new year!
