Which do you prefer?

These are my two favourite layouts for my Bliss half square triangles.

Can you guess which one I have almost completely sewn up at our quilt group today?
The scrappy pin wheels or all blocks facing the same direction.

I'm contemplating doing a flying geese border, something I've never done before. This should bring it up to a nice size to fit on Miss Muff's double bed. Matching trimmed pillow cases would be nice too wouldn't they.

  9. Top one - is all turmoil and movement...the second one is order and peace....

I think it would depend on how you are feeling, as to which one you would choose. Look forward to the reveal.

  10. I love pinwheels, but having just made a pinwheel top, I'm going to say the bottom layout is the one you're doing. I'm planning on making one like that myself soon! Love those fabrics too! :0)

she does so much with half square triangles. Be sure to go to her older posts, then you will see quilting ideas too. I find seeing what others are doing is a great inspiration for me. Thus I visit your blog regularly and love it.
