Post and rail.


I had a nice steady day of sewing today.
It was too cold to do much else.
Here is the post and rail pieced centre section of the quilt I'm doing for my brother and fiance for their engagement. The next part is a wide white border with applique flowers.

  3. Beautiful quilt! An applique border sounds really nice but it is a lot of work, isn´t it? Do you use the needle turn method for that????

  7. That looks SO good Julie!!! Looking forward to seeing it with the borders. Do you needleturn or blanket stitch?? I usually blanket stitch, my needleturn needs a LOT more practice he he.
