This Winter.....


.......we are going to be eating pumpkin.

This is about one third of what grew here this year. We saved and planted the jap seeds, the golden nuggets and Queensland blue varieties are ferals, ie. popped up out of the compost.

  4. Mmmmmm yum. We LOVE pumpkin here at our house - well most of us, the 3 yr old is yet to be convinced.
    Roast pumpkin risotto, pumpkin canneloni, Roast pumpkin & lentil soup. Yum yum yum!

  5. Pumpkin is my favourite food (close second is corn). I just made a double batch of pumpkin soup yesterday, sadly, not from our pumkins.
    Well done on the bumper feral crop.

  6. Yummy! Stuffed with corn and covered with cheese...kids love it. Also covered with brown sugar and a tiny piece of butter, then grilled in the oven....mmmmm
    No vegie patch here.....

  7. I also like pumpkin soup... it's fun to see that you have autumn. In Germany it is springtime, and we are waiting for summer :o)
