Day out.

This girl and I and the under school ages kiddies had a nice day out in Bendigo today.   Day out consisted of an hour and a half in the new Spotlight, sandwiches from a corner store and a play in the White Hills gardens after picking up my Mum from the train station.  I got some bargains in the fabric department but think my Spotlight excursions will be directed towards Shepparton in future.  The new Bendigo store seems to have shrunk their fabric section and are concentrating more on homewares etc.  which is a shame.  No luck finding retromummy her elusive fabric either.

Strolling through the you like the arms behind the back.

The kangaroos.
The gardens have a few animal and bird exhibits, all free to the public.

In the aviary.

  1. I LOVE the picture with the arms behind her back!! It made me smile and I needed that right now! :0)

  2. Looks like a nice the pensive walker!

  3. Love the reclining kangaroo, it looks as if the one standing is saying "you look tired dear, would you like a cup of tea?"

  4. What a wonderful day out! I do love the photo of your little girl with her arms behind her back :)

  5. How sweet is she? Gorgeous pics.

  6. Very determined walk she has there, is she stubborn?
I know what you mean about Spotlight, they seem to be going the way of Lincraft.

  7. that miss ellie is a real little miss! so cute with all her blonde hair!

thanks for looking!!!! is that the park in the centre of town, we went there when we did our daytrip to bendigo, to go to the woollen mills. Must do that again, we're hoping to get a flash car next year that we can do long trips in and not worry about it dying on the way!!!
