Pickings and play dough.

Today's picking to take with us visiting this afternoon.  Catching up with some cousins from Melbourne.  At the moment, celery, rhubarb, eggs, broad beans, mint, parsley, rosemary and leeks.  Limited numbers of lemons and snow peas which we are saving for us.

The strawberry patch now has strawberries in it!
Its taken a few steps.

Step 1 - beg, borrow, steal an old tank

Step 2 - buy a 9 inch grinder

Step 3 - cut tank in half

Step 4 - roll into place

Step 5 - convince husband this "IS" a good idea

Step 6 - fill with dirt with tractor

Step 7 - lay seeping hose

Step 8 - cover with plastic

Step 9 - plant strawberries

Step 10 - water and eat......yum.

And with the left over plastic make a play dough table for the holidays.  This has entertained them all morning.

  4. I LOVE step 5. Those cute little calves in the back ground look like they might like strawberries also. The playdo looks like fun.
