New arrivals.

We had a nice surprise this morning when we woke up.  Two of our cows had calved overnight.  Yesterday's weather was enough to put anyone in labour.  An out of the blue hot, dusty, windy horrible day.  I'm not looking forward to Summer.  Anyway back to the new babies, this is everyone's favourite, she's just beautiful, silver grey and velvety.  We picked up another two calves later in the morning for me to rear unless that is we can get them on to our new mother cows.  Wouldn't that be easy.  mmmm will see how we go with that.
We need a name for her Keira........ :0)
This afternoon, we coiled the seeping hose in the old tank for our strawberry patch.  It just needs to be covered with black plastic and our strawberries transplanted from the vegie patch.   We turned the hose on for a test, I was surprised how much and how evenly the water seeps out of them.  I'm considering putting more around the garden.  They are supposed to be very good.
The strawberry patch to be.  Its in a nice sunny spot.  Its under a gum tree but the bottom is still in the tank so the tree shouldn't sap too much moisture.  Nothing much else will grow here.
