Blue wren family additions.

We have a family of blue wrens that live in the fernery outside the kitchen window.  I noticed a nest with some little eggs last week and tonight look what appeared for their first flying lesson.  Three babies, huddled together on the back of a garden seat waiting patiently.  The three of them together are about as big as a tennis ball.
It wasn't long before Daddy blue wren came over to see what was going on.

  6. Cute little family!
Our nest is down to 1 baby I think, I found a dead one without a head on the lawn, glad the boys did not discover it. I think the magpies are giving them trouble.
