Bloggers Quilt Festival - scrappy pinwheels.

Scrappy Pinwheels.

I have decided at the last minute to enter the Blogger's Quilt Festival.
This would have to be one of my favourite completed projects for the last year.
It measures 46 x 58 inches.

Its such a simple quilt really.
I made pin wheels from my scraps over about three years and recently I decided I had enough to made a quilt.

I used more scraps to do a pieced back.

Laying out the squares, trying to work out what order they looked best in.  I tried groupin gthe colours but in the end I just placed them randomly.

More playing with colours.  The pale pinks in the centre didn't look right.
Hope you like my entry, sorry to my regular reader who saw this quilt not long ago finished.
Off to check out the other entries this week.  Should be interesting.

  15. Thanks for visiting my blog Julie. I checked out the sewing machines you bought and the black Singer looks like a model 99. I had a newer 99 I loved but my grown daughter has it now. It was great for piecing.
