Wedding

We have just returned from another trip to Melbourne.  This time it was to attend our friends wedding.  As you can see it was wet, very wet.  Plans of a garden wedding had to altered at the very last minute.  It just poured and poured with rain and the wind gusted the whole day.  Here is the bride trying to avoid the rain getting out of her limo.

The happy couple signed their wedding registry in front of the open fire at the winery.  It was hard to believe it is Summer.

The cake.   Tasted as good as it looked.  All chocolate.

The three bridesmaids wore burnt orange, not a colour I would ever choose for a wedding but it looked amazing.

My latest vase/jar of cut flowers.  I had to cut them, we got home Sunday and half my sunflowers were lying horizontal from all the wind and rain.

  2. looks like it was a beautiful wedding!
it seems strange that you are talking about summer and we are snowed/iced in. Have been for the last 2 days and it's supposed to keep up for another 6-7 days.
    Have a happy day!!
