Customer quilt.

A friend ordered a quilt today as a Christmas present to her son and daughter-in-law.  This is the design she chose, we are using the small blocks in the middle for an all over design so it won't look quite as abstract as this photo.  Its only going to be lap quilt size.

These are the fabrics she chose.  Very earthy, the quilts owners are in the process of building a mud brick cottage so the colours should go nicely.

The quilt is called Hidden Triangles by Lisa Walton published in Australian Quilters Companion, July 2006.

  1. The colours are very organic looking, it'll be a spectacular quilt. With the quilt pictured in the first pic, who made it & who does it belong to?

  2. That is going to be lovely with those tones...And that it will not have that abstract look will be a plus... More natural... 8-)

  3. Gorgeous earthy colours, love them!
