Patchwork evening resumes.

We resumed our once a month evening patchwork group last night.  We don't meet over Winter as people don't seem to like to go out when it is cold.  The quilt above was made by one of our talented ladies Lynne.  It was made from a jelly roll given to her for her birthday by her daughter.  (Nice daughter!).

This was another of her Winter creations, a gorgeous bag made from 6 1/2 squares.  Apparently you can made it from any size squares.

  1. How nice for you that the patchwork group is up and running again! Nice pic of the quilt and bag. Quilt looks like it would sew up quickly. Funny thing is people in my neck of the woods are making similar bags! Funny, eh?

  2. Yup! QGB is right! There are a lot of us in our group making that bag... Mine isn't started yet! 8-)
Isn't it wonderful getting together with other creators after a long time without? Too bad you break for the winter! We venture out to our quilt groups even when it is about -30 Celsius! We are troopers! You can join us! 8-)
    Happy stitchings!
